Missional Communities

At Roots, part of our vision is to “purposefully seek the renewal of our city.” It’s not enough to just talk about loving our neighbors; we need to actually do it.

With that in mind, we’ve started what we call missional communities.

Missional communities are groups centered on a mission focus to love and serve others in the name of Jesus. They are also great spaces to get to know others and be known by others. We have 3 active missional communities, each with a different mission focus and schedule:

Honoring Our Elders

Focus: To serve the local elderly/disabled community through advocacy and by meeting basic needs.
